  Sample Clips

Here you will find a variety of clips that we downloaded from some of our clients' sites.  Note the various resolutions and frames per second (fps) recording rates, which vary by DVR and camera type.

4CIF/D1 (704x480 = 337k pxl)

Full HD1080P (1920x1080 = 2 Mgpxl)

UHD 4K (3840 x 2160 = 8 Mgpxl).

Some of these clips have been converted to Windows Media Player for your convenience.

Double click an image to play it, or, preferably, Right Click and Save Target As, saving the video to your PC;
then play it from your PC instead of streaming it here.

If audio is indicated, click the speaker icon in the player and make sure your speakers are on.

If they do not open automatically you may need to

Download the H.264 Clip Viewer
            or
Download Windows Media Player Classic from http://mpc-hc.org

Analog vs. IP Cameras on a Hybrid HD NVR

This 4 camera split image demonstrates the top two analog cameras connected over coax cable...
700 TVL (approx. 500,000 pixels) vs. 1000 TVL (approx. 1,000,000 pixels)
as compared to the bottom two IP cameras connected over Cat5 wire...
1.3 Megapixel (approx. 1,300,000 pixels) vs. 3.0 Megapixel (approx. 3,000,000 pixels)

Note the images created by the better cameras are increasingly clearer as they are produced with more pixels. If you want to zoom in, Save this image to your PC and open with a viewer. Pick an object, for instance the yellow cord plugged into the pole.  Now, zoom in on each of the 4 images.  You will readily see that as you zoom into the higher megapixel images, the clarity is maintained better since there are so many more pixels.
