PIN Pads

 Required for Debit (ATM) Card Processing. 

The customer enters their Personal Identification Number (PIN) when prompted. Access through the debit network authorizes and deducts the funds right from the customers checking account instantly. 

By accepting ATM Debit Cards, you can reduce your per transaction fee (no discount rate), offer cash back with a purchase -- which generates store traffic-- and, you can charge a surcharge for each transaction, which generates additional income!

Many Debit cards are now disguised as Credit Cards with the VISA or Mastercard logo, bypassing the need for a PIN pad, however, you will be charged the V/MC discount rate instead of the fixed Debit transaction fee.
